Legacy Matters
Established in 1949, Ballards Barbershop was the beginning of a legacy. In 2005, Preston Wilson opened William Henry Salon in honor of his great grandfather William Henry Ballard. Mr. Ballard was known in the community for his integrity, excellence, and grace. He was Belmont’s barber. Today, the brand has grown to 3 locations in beautiful downtown areas as well as a reinvented Ballards Barbershop on Main Street in Belmont.

Our story began with William Henry Ballard, who believed in encouraging and achieving the best in everyone he met. As a child facing setbacks and discouragement, a visit to Ballard’s Barber Shop was a refuge where he found inspiration and a sense of pride. Today, we carry on his vision by providing top-quality services in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.
